Nicholas & Jacqueline Rinaldi Prize in the Arts Fund
Nicholas Rinaldi was a recognized poet and novelist, who, together with his wife Jacqueline, led lives devoted to teaching literature and nurturing young minds. Their thirst for learning, the arts, and culture opened pathways to extend these passions to younger generations. This prize is intended to help encourage recipients to pursue their creative voices in our ever-changing world.

John B. Abaté Memorial Scholarship
John B. Abaté was an artist and lifelong pursuer of knowledge. Himself a community college attendee, John spoke fondly of his time in community college and the educational opportunities it afforded by him, earning an AA from Wright College before pursuing a BA in Fine Art from Rosary College (now Dominican University). After a work accident in 1992 rendered him disabled, John returned once more to community college, earning an Associates in Graphic Design from College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. The Abaté family intends for this prize to encourage students to pursue their passion in the classroom and beyond.
