Steven Lara,

a proud Prairie State College alumnus who successfully channeled his education into a rewarding career as an emergency department registered nurse at a Level 2 trauma center. He credits the college for drilling in the clinical confidence and holistic care principles required to handle everything from pediatrics to high-stakes trauma situations on the front lines.
