SPARK Grant Criteria Purpose Statement
- The purpose of the Prairie State College Foundation’s SPARK Grant is to encourage and provide financial support for PSC faculty (both full-time and adjunct) to develop and implement innovative projects that will enhance the academic experience for students at Prairie State College.
Qualifications for Spark grant funding
Qualifications for SPARK Grant Funding
- Awards will be given for projects that benefit student learning and the College.
- The PSCF recognizes PSC’s budget constraints and wishes to encourage and assist projects and programs that enhance PSC student learning. The PSCF appreciates the opportunity to partner with the College and share project costs. This information should be included in the application.
- A complete budget for the project is required regardless of whether requesting full or partial funding from the PSCF.
- The PSCF must be acknowledged in any publicity and printed materials, and the executive director must approve all materials before printing or publishing to social media or the College’s website. Please contact the PSCF at [email protected] for PSCF artwork/logos.

Award Process
Award Process
- Completed applications must be submitted to the PSCF via email at [email protected] or via interoffice mail.
- Applications will be accepted and awarded on a rolling basis throughout the 2025-2026 academic year. Priority will be given to applications in the order in which they are received.
- PSCF’s SPARK Grant Committee will review and approve requests, up to the total amount of available funding. The PSCF Board of Directors establishes the SPARK Grant budget.
- Qualifying applicants will be notified of the approved funding amount.
